HOW TO DISCOVER YOUR DESTINY BY DISCOVERING YOUR PURPOSE IN LIFE

The bible is primarily a book of purpose. Purpose is the fundamental message of the bible. Your journey into faith begins with the discovery of purpose. Why? “To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven” Eccl 3:1 Until purpose is discovered, destiny is impossible. The very first component of destiny discovery is purpose. Faith strives on discoveries. Faith strives on revelation. Chief and first among these discoveries is the discovery of the will of God for creating you. You are not a biological accident like Dr. David O. Oyedepo often says; you are a child of destiny. You are a child born to be a star. You are a child born in season. Until you discover your purpose, your destiny remains closed. Until you discover your purpose, your heavens remains closed. Eccl 3:1 for everything under the heaven, there is a purpose. WHAT IS PURPOSE? Purpose means intentions, aim, e.t.c. Purpose is the intention or the reason why God made you. Purpose is the intention of your being. It is the reason why God allowed you on earth at this time. Purpose is the importance God placed on your life. It is your value to humanity in your generation. Until you discover this, faith remain but a mental assent and not a divine force. Now you must understand without any doubt that your journey into purpose starts by giving your life to Jesus Christ. Until you accept Jesus, your access into purpose is impossible. Jesus says, I am the way, the truth and the life. No other religious leader has ever said that of himself before. This is a statement of purpose. Jesus is the way to the truth that guarantees the fulfillment of God’s purpose in eternity. Your acceptance of Jesus as your source in destiny and your savior in eternity is your first step into the discovery of purpose. Until you know him, you cannot know who you are. The revelation of Jesus determines your discovery of purpose. The revelation of Jesus is the power that powers purpose. Purpose is god’s reason for creating you. Jesus is the only way to know the reason; Jesus is the word of God. Purpose is not prayed for, it is planned for. So, if you are born again, it is a proof God’s commitment and faithfulness to bring you to the place of purpose. Every Endeavour, every venture, every adventure outside of purpose leads into frustration because it is devoid of faith, God’s force performance. Everything in life is hanging on your purpose in God. Purpose will guide career in life. Purpose will guide your choice of relationship marital and other relationships. Purpose determines what comes to you in life. Purpose determines what you go through and how to handle it. It is a tragedy for your Joseph to be crying in the pit when an Ishmaelite will soon show up. It is dangerous to go sleeping with everything under the skirt, that way you die in portipher’s house and never get to prison, and until you get to prison, you will not get to the palace. It will be dangerous for your Daniel to go about Babylon eating and drinking and spoiling yourself with every fat of the king; that way, you die with your gift. Purpose is what determines what type of discipline you will have to embrace. Below are few things to know about purpose. Purpose is not determined, it is discovered You do not choose purpose; it is purpose that chooses you. You are a victim of purpose Purpose is not competed with; it is contributed to and cooperated with. Purpose is the door to your destiny Your validation, completeness, colour, is a discovery of purpose. Purpose determines the discipline you must embrace. Purpose cannot be changed but it may not be fulfilled if you refuse the door to purpose – Jesus Purpose is without repentance but it is opened up by repentance and acceptance of Jesus Christ the maker of your purpose.
